Do you have some pretty scarves tucked away that seldom see the light of day?
Well get them out of the dresser drawers, and think about using them for your home decor.

My friend Renae Moore showed me a beautiful Hermes scarf she has had for years, still pristine in the original box. She is thinking of framing it and using it as a piece of art.

Or maybe she'll try the ottoman idea.

Framing seems easy enough. I would get a piece of foam core and cut it a little smaller than the size of the scarf, then overlap the edges of the scarf on the board, and tape them with duck tape on the back of the board. Then I'd pop it into a frame, with or without glass.

The framed scarf that becomes the coffee table top, looks pretty interesting.

Scarves are truly beautiful works of art.

The furniture lavishly covered in designer scarves is available at Suzan Fellman, and it's currently on sale at One Kings Lane.

Suzan also has these fabulous vintage scarf covered dog collars, that I would wear myself!

Patricia from PVE suggested making pillows from your scarves, another great DIY project.
Here are a couple of links with instructions, from Martha Stewart and Re-Nest.
